About one week ago on the SSTUWA forum, we heard about the plight of the teachers at NSHS, who were being lambasted in the media, yet were unable to say anything.

This post, made just over 2 weeks ago, has had 3619, yes, 3619(*) views, with 276 replies !!!!!
It will be 3620 views and 277 replies by the time I get another look!

Quite a few of us have been back many times, but no other thread has seen so much action in such a short time!

So even though Ed Matters has not had a great deal of posts when compared to PLATO, the union site is becoming a hot favourite amongst members.  If you are a member of the SSTUWA, get on board!

NB: There has been over 1000 members subscribe to the union site in the past month!

To get to the Members Forum:

After Login with member number and password, you will go to the members page.  Put your cursor over the MEMBERS tab at the top, and a menu will drop down.  Click on FORUM and it will take you to the posts.  There is also an on-line chat, which is a great place to talk, type and cam.  You can even have private conversations!

You will need to explore all the different sections - the webmaster has put a wealth of resources on the site!  Look forward to seeing you there, Bullfinch!

Maxi are you holding your tongue lol? Yes, that right, Max has been told in no uncertain terms to "hold her tongue" on the SSTUWA site. Her crime was to ask questions.

I have just has a post deleted for drumming up the MF campaign asking people to do something useful with their dissent by pushing the MF donate button.
