Your question is better asked on FDO-Users...

I've seen this problem too; I believe that I had to fix something in the
build script, or maybe define FDOGDAL to get it to work, but can't
remember exactly what.

Yes. Just define a valid value for FDOGDAL and the build should work. Typically, the FDOGDAL variable is pointed to .../fdo/trunk/Thirdparty/gdal but you can point it to whatever copy of the GDAL sdk you want to use.

Someones of my environments variables are:

CC=gcc-4.1
CXX=g++-4.1
FDO=/OpenSource_FDO/Fdo
FDOGDAL=/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty/gdal
FDOMYSQL=/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty/mysql/rhlinux

PYTHON_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/include/python2.4
PYTHON_LIB_PATH=/usr/lib/python2.4

BUT WHAT YOU MEAN? When Just define a valid value for FDOGDAL ??

My variable environment is set: FDOGDAL=/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty/gdal

However .. my endless lines after the: /OpenSource_FDO/.build_thirdparty.sh  are ..

make[1]: se sale del directorio `/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty/gdal/apps'
make[1]: se ingresa al directorio `/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty'
make[1]: *** No hay ninguna regla para construir el objetivo `apache/xml-xalan/c/lib/libxalan-c.so.17.0', necesario para `all-am'.  Alto.
make[1]: se sale del directorio `/OpenSource_FDO/Thirdparty'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Can you give another advice or another tip for this issue..?

Thanks!

It is hard to determine exactly what the origin of the error would be from your list of steps to reproduce. Can you provide a more expansive set steps that may allow me to understand the build sequence you are using?

Have you followed all the setup steps in:

http://trac.osgeo.org/fdo/browser/trunk/OpenSourceBuild__README.txt

Have you build the Thirdparty directory using the build_thirdparty script?

Please provide a command line of all the commands you execute to build FDO and the setup steps you followed.

Greg
