HI ALL;
SORRY ABOUT THE LATE NOTICE ON THIS - BUT THE
OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF - SO IT IS TIME TO CLIMB!!!
WE WILL BE SUMMITING TOMASAKI (don't you just love
to say that name) - 12,320' - 4th highest peak in the La Sal National
Forest.
I know this is short notice - but there is no time
like the present... tomorrow ... and even though it is deer hunting
season - the conditions could not be better for a Summit attempt.
DETAILS;
TIME : 7:00 AM
LOCATION : HWY 191 TURN-OFF TO KEN'S LAKE
/ LOOP ROAD (small parking area by 191)
WHAT TO BRING : LAYERS - LIGHT LUNCH -
ORANGE - A GREAT ATTITUDE...
WHY : 5TH MONTH IN A ROW TO
SUMMIT...
BECAUSE
IT IS THERE... - IT WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY...
I
HAVE 3 FRIENDS FROM SWEDEN WHO HAVE NEVER SUMMITED A LA SAL PEAK...
AND
BECAUSE OF THIS CANDIED SEASON, I NEED TO HIKE OFF SOME SWEETS!!!
This will be one of the more
strenuous hikes because of the steep climb to the top - but will be a very
enjoyable Summit. Again - Bring Orange... it is Deer season and
there will be hunters "Up in them thar hills".
RIDES... I will have 4 seats in my
truck... SO - contact me TODAY 435.260.8131 so we can arrange the
connect.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE... IT WILL BE A
BLAST... KEVIN
