Hi:

I am currently working on a project to capture trade deals from ICE, does anyone knows how to exclude incoming messages by message type in the logging configuration? We do not want to log the security definition messages, there are too many these messages and we would like exclude these messages from the log file.

Thanks.

Currently, you only have FileLogHeartbeats property if you want to avoid logging heartbeats.
The easiest way for you, is to put the sources of quickfixJ under your project and manually change the implementation of the onIncoming(String message) function of qiuckfix.AbstractLog.
