I have some questions about Esperanto:
1) Are there any useless conventions?
2) Is there a keyboard layout for it? If so, is it one that requires the use of some fingers more than others?
3) Why does it have special characters? There are certainly ways around them, for an artificial language.
4) Why is the r trilled? more particularly, why is it solely trilled like the Spanish r? I would think allowing people to do either a gutteral roll or a frontal roll would allow for more participation, instead of just one. Actually, eliminating the roll altogether would be the simple solution.
5) Is it supposed to be phonetic?
6) Is the language complete? Are there standards, or do people choose how it evolves?
7) Is there much Polish bias in Esperanto? Well, it seems there is some, but that's understandable, seeing as the creator was Polish.
8) Does this language intend to be one of the most useful languages, or just an easy to learn language?
9) Does this language intend to replace currently existing languages, go hand in hand with them, or some such else? If it does intend to replace them, how does it intend to do this? Is there a plan of action? Certainly, I hope there is no plan to force people.
10) How context-driven is Esperanto? I would think a universal language would rely little on context and idioms.
Anyway, those are some thoughts. Feel free to answer my questions.
