Question for Schadenfreude

I saw Closer again last night, and remember you saying that you hated it.

I think it's an interesting film, and I can't quite decide what it's about. The failure of intimacy? Desire and conquest as a substitute for intimacy?

I was wondering why you disliked it so much.

I think I said it was evil.

At this point I don't actually remember too much detail, and I have no desire to ever see it again, so I probably won't be much help.

It's a very painful movie to watch.
