Please have a look here:
http://wiki.deegree.org/deegreeWiki/TransactionalWebFeatureServiceConfiguration#DefiningWFS-Tfeatureequality.2BAC8whattheheckarethese.27deegreewfs.3AIdentityPart.27elements.3F> 2) What's the purpose/function of <deegreewfs:visible>? and under

By default, only the first feature type definition of an annotated schema is actually presented in the GetCapabilities-response (=visible) and can be requested by GetFeature requests. The other feature types only occur if they are subfeatures of features that are queried.
You can turn on more feature types to be queryable by setting <deegreewfs:visible>true</deegreewfs:visible>.
Best regards,
Markus
