Eight months in Queensland and I still can't believe the state of play here:
1. Lowest paid in mainland Australia and very little chance of any change.
2. Horribly run down, rubbish dump public schools across the state. Worse than WA.
3. A union more in DET's pocket than WA and a deeply uninformed membership.
4. A basket case curriculum that puts the onus on teachers to comply and conform much more so than WA.
Don't relocate to Queensland unless you really love the sunshine!
BTW - the latest news is our 'out-of-control' cohort...I wonder why? Read below...
