'Introduction to QGIS' course this Saturday! Still places available!

 

The OSGeo Africa Local Chapter (aka GISSA Open Source SIG) will be holding an 'Introduction to QGIS' course

 

on Sat 27 June

 

at St Davids Marist Inanda College, Sandton, Johannesburg.

 

from 08h30 to 15h30

 

Cost: only R250, includes lunch and refreshments (pay at the door)

 

Back in November 08 we ran a short introduction to various FOSS GIS packages in one morning. This course will be a whole-day, much more in-depth, hands-on look at Quantum GIS (www.qgis.org).

 

Presenters: Tim Sutton (on QGIS project steering committee), Brendon Wolf-Piggott, Graeme McFerren and Gavin Fleming.
