Indeed, I took a look to that thread a while ago.
What I am wondering is what the `best practices' are for such activities, there were some comments about some options that wouldn't be needed for high performance in 6.4, but I'm just sort of curious if there's a set of configuration options that gets some sort of "Eiffel Software" approved stamp that tells me I've got it right :).
