Hi Ronald,
thanks so much for your reply. It sure clarifies a few things :-) It is
a quite unfortunate that there are no active programmers on Scim any
longer. Is there any chance I could have write access to the SVN
repository in order to apply the patch myself? I worked for quite a
while on it and as I mentioned in the last email, there are others who
are interested in programmatic control of the IM as well, so it seems
like it would be cool if we could get it in.
Cheers,
Tim
Dear Tim,
I can answer your question.
On this moment, this project does not have any programmer.
I am the only one left on this project and I am not a programmer.
The only things what I do is translating (into Dutch), making tables for
input-pad and pushing (non-programming) patches from the bugreport-system.
It will take a lot of time until your patch will be integrated in the
source-files.
On the website scim-im.org
go to:
development
go to:
bug reorts
go to:
bug tracking system
You are now ending on:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=108454&atid=650539
<
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=108454&atid=650539>
here you can make a bugreport with the patch, so it will not be lost and
preserved for the future when there are programmers again.
Ronald
