Problem building esql project

I was attempting to build the esql project from the "store" directory in
examples.  I received this error:

 2 VGCC(6): Creation instruction uses call to improper feature.
HASH_TABLE.empty_duplicate (elks) 881, 18

I started EiffelStudio by double clicking on "esql-safe.ecf" and have made
no code changes.  I'm using EiffelStudio 6.5.
