If you haven't seen it already, check out the discussion on Nate Aune's blog:
http://nateaune.com/2007/12/08/plone4edu-edition-of-plone-for-universities-and-educational-institutions/I won't repeat my comments here. But possible action items could be:
- Get commitments from a few people to keep an eye on this list and make sure advice requests get answered.
- Revise list description on Nabble and in Mailman to encourage advice requests.
- Get commitment from someone to keep an eye on this list and maintain a FAQ on plone4universities.org / plone4edu.org.
Of course, I realize it's easy for me to suggest action items for unidentified other people to do. :-)
But having seen the Ploneability presentations and thought about the issues some of our smaller clients face, plus the kinds of issues larger university prospects raise, I think it would do a world of good to be able to point people to this list for advice from other people using Plone successfully at colleges and universities.
