Porting application from OKL4 v2.1 to v3

Hi,

I want to port an application originally written for OKL4 version 2.1 on OKL4 version 3.
This application the OKL4 Hello World server at: http://wiki.ok-labs.com/DevelopAServer
Are idl and magpie mandatory to interface components?
Is Iguana still used in OKL4 v3?
What are the steps needed to do this kind of port?
