I just deleted two spam entries from the Ploneboard Poi tracker on
plone.org. This is worrying: it means spambots are now capable of
spamming Poi.

We need to look for a way to block that. The obvious option is to use
the same policy on the Poi trackers in PSC as we do for trac and not
allow anonymous comments or issues, but I'm open for other options as
well.

Wichert.

We could use collective.captcha and require a captcha for anonymous
issue submission.

FWIW, bots can now register for accounts on unprotected Plone sites.
IMHO, we're going to have to seriously start thinking about shipping
with a captcha implementation.  But that's another email thread. ;-)

best,
jon

Hi,

Opening this thread again to find out what would be the solution for implementing a captcha for Poi. Spam really seems to a problem.

I would really appreciate if someone could point me some practical solutions to add captcha for Poi.

Thanks!

Jussi
