[Hello all - following is an email I sent out to a number of NZ
Government departments who are using Plone. The meeting is open to
anyone and will be fairly non-technical in nature but I wanted to give
you all a chance to hear about the PloneGov initiative (and some of its
applications) as well as hear Joel Burton 'live and in person' - a
chance not to be missed!]

I'd like to invite you all to an informal meeting where we will have 2
presentations as follows:
* PloneGov - As a recent member of the PloneGov[1] initiative I
will give a presentation regarding what PloneGov is, including
what successes the initiative has already had worldwide and how
the New Zealand Government (and its individual departments) can
benefit from it (particularly what applications are currently
freely available for Government/Public-sector use).
* Plone 3's New Features and Upgrading From Plone 2.1/2.5 to Plone
3 - Here Joel Burton[2] our special guest for the evening will
be highlighting some of Plone 3's exciting new features and some
things to be aware of when upgrading from Plone 2.1/2.5 to it.
The details for the evening are as follows:
When: Tuesday, 01 July 2008, 5-7pm, please be on time.
Where: 3months offices - Level 1, Saatchi & Saatchi House, 101-103
Courtenay Place, Wellington
Agenda:
* 5:00pm - Drinks and nibbles supplied by 3months.
* 5:30pm - PloneGov presentation by Tim Knapp.
* 6:00pm - Plone 3 presentation by Joel Burton.
* 6:30pm - After presentation networking.
* 7:00pm - Finish.

* Each of these presentations will take about 30 minutes plus
discussion.
