 http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fold.plone.org%2Fproducts%2Fplone2pdf&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
 reports that the < character in "(version < 1.0)" is not valid, but
 inspecting source shows it to be escaped correctly.  WTF?
