 With the new skin, trac reports are hard to view. They're too smooshed
 together, can't see the entire ticket summary in some cases, have to
 scroll for ages to get to the bottom of the page, etc.

 Also, seem to be missing basic trac functions like Filters, Columns, and
 group results by.

 indeed, the new skin reduces tracs usability a lot. Why do we have such
 big font-sizes, double line-spacings, etc?

 The big font sizes are not specific to trac. If you look at the
 [http://plone.org/products/plone/releases/3.3 Plone 3.3 release page] you
 will see that the small code snippet there is way way bigger than the
 surrounding text, and needless attracts attention away from the important
 text.
