Let's take a look at these test failures.

Culprit is http://dev.plone.org/collective/changeset/98907 Fixed a few hours ago by Stefan Holak by reverting that change in http://dev.plone.org/collective/changeset/99274 Better ways to fix this properly for plip 4379 are of course welcome. > Subject: FAILED (failures=1) : Plone[next]-3.2 Zope-2.10 Python-2.4.6 > From: Plone Products Tests > Date: Fri Oct 9 02:40:58 UTC 2009 > URL: http://lists.plone.org/pipermail/testbot/2009-October/014449.html Long standing bug about past events. Ticket http://dev.plone.org/plone/ticket/8827 Meanwhile fixed by Pelle in ATContentTypes. For the test failure to go away we need a release of ATContentTypes 1.2.8. > Subject: FAILED (failures=1) : Plone-4.0 Zope-2.12 Python-2.6.2 > From: Plone Products Tests > Date: Fri Oct 9 02:44:58 UTC 2009 > URL: http://lists.plone.org/pipermail/testbot/2009-October/014451.html That is this error: File "/home/stefan/autotest/temp/python26-zope212-cmf22-plone40/src/Plone/Products/CMFPlone/tests/mails.txt", line 57, in mails.txt Failed example: b64decode(msg.message.get_payload()) Expected: '...You are receiving this mail because T\xc3\xa4st user\ntest at plone.test...is sending feedback about the site administered by you at...The message sent was:...Another t\xc3\xa4st message... Is b64decode no longer necessary here? Meanwhile, since the very recent change to use plonetheme.sunburst as the default theme I get some more test failures in mails.txt, because the Contact link cannot be found. Something with actions is going wrong. Looks like something for Limi and Eric to pick up. Help is appreciated. > Subject: FAILED (failures=9, errors=3) : Plone-trunk Zope-trunk Python-2.6.2 > From: Plone Products Tests > Date: Fri Oct 9 02:46:58 UTC 2009 > URL: http://lists.plone.org/pipermail/testbot/2009-October/014452.html Too many to comment on. Something has gone wrong during packaging apparently. Branch 3.3 looks fine and nothing has changed recently in this file. There are a few more files with size zero in the egg: $ find -size 0 ./Products/CMFPlone/skins/plone_styles/generated.css.dtml.metadata ./Products/CMFPlone/tests/testUserFolderBasics.py ./Products/CMFPlone/profiles/default/structure/Members/.objects ./Products/CMFPlone/profiles/default/plone-app-kss.txt but of these four only testUserFolderBasics.py does NOT have size zero in subversion. After a 'bin/develop Plone' in plonenext/3.3 the tests for testUserFolderBasics pass again. Any idea what could have caused this sudden zero size? In related news, I think all of the test failures related to the recent theme merge should be sorted out now — thanks to Maurits and Eric!

A bug in subversion: occasionally a svn copy command manages to loose the contents of a file. This has happened once or twice before. Well, we can try. Ah, Stefan still runs those tests ignoring the ./bin/alltests script. A lot of these problems are test isolation problems, which don't happen if you run the tests isolated and as intended. >> Subject: FAILED (failures=3) : Plone-4.0 Zope-2.12 Python-2.6.2 >> From: Plone Libraries Tests >> Date: Fri Oct 9 03:01:58 UTC 2009 >> URL: http://lists.plone.org/pipermail/testbot/2009-October/014458.html > > These are a few errors in plone.app.upgrade for blacklisted portlets: > > Perhaps the author of plip #9285 (Show blocked portlets in management > interface - Ricardo Alves (igbun) ) has an idea here? Nope. That was me refactoring the initial default content creation. I still need to bring the default portlet blacklisting back. I disabled the test in Plone, not seeing that there's also some tests in p.a.upgrade that rely on this. I'll get to these and fix them over the weekend.
