ASK THE EXPERT: PLONE
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
As part of the N-TEN (short for Nonprofit Technology Enterprise
Network) ask the expert series, both Joel Burton of
PloneBootcamps.com and myself will be fielding questions about Plone
on Wednesday, December 13th.  This will take place from 10:00-11:00
am Pacific time and all the information you should need to join is
available at:
http://www.nten.org/expert/plone

You should only need a browser and that same URL to join in on the
discussion once the time approaches.

Past expert sessions have covered Joomla & Drupal and information and
archives on each is reachable from:
http://www.nten.org/expert

WHO THIS IS FOR
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Seeing as N-TEN is an organization serving the nonprofit sector, the
audiences for this session are those from that sector.  This includes
nonprofit decision makers, tech-responsible staff within nonprofits,
and technology consultants serving nonprofits.  In other words, those
that comprise the NGO Plone list. :^)

As many of you know, Plone has an active and thriving IRC channel
where you can get great help.  The ask the expert session is meant to
be a stepping point for those that may not yet feel comfortable in or
may not yet know about #plone.  It's complimentary, not competitive.

ABOUT N-TEN
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
N-TEN is a great organization helping to network the tech-responsible
& tech-interested staff at nonprofit organization's around the
world.  More information at:
http://nten.org/about

Hope some of you can join us!

*Sheepishly* serving as the "expert",

Andrew Burkhalter

In case you missed the N-TEN Ask the Expert session (thanks to those
that did join!) and you're interested in the dialogue that took place
on Plone in the NGO space, you can access the full transcript at:
http://www.nten.org/expert/plone

In talking with N-TEN's director of programs, I was told it was quite
well received and compared favorably with the other sessions on
Drupal & Joomla.

Joel Burton, of course, was his usual brilliant self at explaining
complicated concepts in the somewhat challenging IRC format.  We also
had some help from list regulars Aaron VanDerlip of netCorps and Nate
Aune of Jazkarta weighing in on several topics.

Cheers, Andrew
