If the feature was *intended* to be kept, of course.  It could have well
been that the UI team thought this was not a relevant feature anymore
for Plone 3 or that it should be available otherwise or somewhere else
in the UI.  Switching the "Send this" and "Print this" buttons down to
the bottom right corner of the page rather than at the top right corner
as it used to be in Plone 2.5 (I prefer top right, but that's a matter
of personal opinion) seems to have been a deliberate UI decision so who
am I to believe disabling full page view is a bug and not just some UI
item being shuffled somewhere else?  Of course, if I don't find that
other place, then I may suspect it's a bug. :-)

So, in short, I don't want to call "bugs" things I'm not sure are, which
brings back the point of an easy way for users to report what they
perceive is a "problem".  Seasoned plone users/developers can then tag
those as bugs/feature requests or what not and see to put them in the
right place in the tracker.  It's just a level of indirection for users
not wanting to bother scanning 600 search results returned by the
tracker ;-).

I'm only at chap 5 of the Definitive Guide and ran the Live CD for half
an hour, so I'm no Ubuntu person yet.  Reasons why I mentioned Ubuntu
inmy original post include :

1) I'm reading the said book currently ;-)
2) I very much like the philosophy of the project, with the strong
emphasis on community and their code of conduct

I must say the reason I've installed 4 versions of Plone over the years
beginning in 2003 has to do with the solid and resourceful community
Plone enjoys, else some of the hurdles I've fought to overcome
(especially in my current Windows world where I need to coax folks into
using Firefox so they can see a page in full screen mode) would have
probably taken my interest away.

Go Plone !
