They have to pay them on a 1314a (green card) since there is no such thing as a city casual anymore. They have TE's now. They will have to transfer the hours to the city route or the rural budget will be over.

Subject: Pay Scale
Question for anyone who may have the answer. We currently have an RCA doing a City Route in our PO. Apparently there was no one else available. I am aware the crossing crafts is a no no. No one grieved it and it has been done before. Our Post Master is new, young and lazy. He has been on vacation and does nothing to assist. He scheduled the RCA to fill in while the City Carrier was on vacation.I think the RCA should be receiving the same pay scale as the carrier assigned to the route. Am I wrong? No one knows how to pay the RCA. You comments are welcomed
Thanks
Tom
