I am trying to create mono tracks that output sound to both left and right speakers. Or maybe what I want to do is create a stereo track with the same sound on both the left and the right sides. In order to achieve the latter, however, I copied the mono track, pasted it back into the same window with the other one, then created a stereo file from the two identical mono tracks. Problem is, on play back sound still comes either from one speaker or the other but not both simultaneously. How do I force Audacity to export and MP3 with identical left and right channels that output to both speakers?
