Hanno, Florian and I were talking a bit about the old plone days and
what we used to do way back and were what our earliest commits our.
One thing led to another and we ended up trying to figure out who the
most active developers in the entire history of Plone (at least as far
as subversion knows about) are.  Here are the top 10s:

Archetypes repository:

     author     | commits
----------------+---------
 yenzenz        |    1596
 tiran          |     766
 dreamcatcher   |     762
 zworkb         |     527
 reinout        |     445
 hannosch       |     418
 syt            |     363
 nouri          |     322
 dpunktnpunkt   |     257
 bcsaller       |     213

Jensen's lead is ever bigger: his other account has another 212 commits.

Collective repository:

  author  | commits
----------+---------
 hannosch |    2716
 ajung    |    2495
 maurits  |    2191
 wichert  |    2175
 roeder   |    1789
 reinout  |    1755
 shh42    |    1250
 rossp    |    1225
 brcwhit  |    1212
 encolpe  |    1101

Hanno's first commits were already showing his future career: they
involved template fixes and translation improvements. Some relatively recent
joiners such as Maurits are showing insane amounts of activatity as well.
At this rate the van Rees brothers will own the collective within a year.

Plone repository:

  author   | commits
-----------+---------
 hannosch  |    2768
 limi      |    2445
 wichert   |    2069
 optilude  |    1748
 runyaga   |    1321
 shh42     |    1180
 fschulze  |     884
 alecm     |     816
 witsch    |     704
 tiran     |     328

I think we can officialy declare Hanno to be the king of Plone!

Wichert.

Also very interesting.

Ohloh is also known for being wildly inaccurate though.

And for being 'optimized' to show the contributions by some individuals,
who know about the internals of ohloh a bit more ;)

But now I have the prove of having more commits then limi for real :)

Actually my first contribution was a build.bat for batch converting po
files into mo files checked into the Plone i18n CVS repository on
September 1, 2003. Still the same topic :)

Think that depends on what he's been up to with Hanno.

I will take on that challenge! :)

(there's also all sorts of interesting side effects of Hanno moving the
base of CMFPlone a while back)

Not in these stats. Ohloh might be confused, but raw svn history is not.
Admit it - Hanno has got you beat by a wide margin!

I wasn't trying to imply that, those are two separate statements. Of
course Hanno is the king!

Also +1. Hanno's work is outstanding and very solid in every area of the
Zope world where he is touching code in some way.

Kudos to Hanno,
Andreas
