So, I've noticed that if you take a bag of the Lipton teriyaki rice (and/or noodles), and then, while cooking it, squeeze an orange into it (and add the flesh after), add a dash of cinnamon (not a lot), and maybe a few drops of Maggi seasoning and/or a little extra brown sugar (this isn't required)—then, you get a rather tasty dish.  Don't cook it so long that the rice sticks to the pan, though, or it might get an undesirable smokey flavor (well, some people might like that, but it's probably not best for an introduction).  I do recommend cooking most of the water out, though, but that's me (the bag doesn't say to do that).

Cooked orange flesh goes great in rice type dishes, it seems.  In this, it tastes like vegetables or something (unless you don't squeeze it into smaller bits, in which case it will taste more like orange flesh).

You may not need to use a whole orange, though, unless you do two bags or so, but if you like zesty stuff, you probably won't mind if you do.
