Cssers, we have many board openings on county boards and we NEED people who have long-term sustainable solutions to serve! Here is the info:
Trustees on Special Service District Boards:
Canyonlands Health Care Special Service District: 2 vacancies--one must
be a medical provider and the other a finance professional.
Grand County Cemetery Maintenance District: 1 vacancy.
Grand County Special Service Recreation District No. 1: 2 vacancies.
Solid Waste Special Service District No. 1: 1 vacancy.
Other county boards and commissions:
PLANNING COMMISSION-- 2 vacancies; (resident for 2 or more years).
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT-- 2.
COUNCIL ON AGING--7 (Half must be over 60).
HISTORICAL PRESERVATION COMMISSION-- 1.
LIBRARY BOARD--1.
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SOUTHEASTERN UTAH--2 (Professional from the legal
field).
TRAVEL COUNCIL ADVISORY BOARD--1 (Represent tourist-related industry).
It's easy to apply--just print out the form below, fill
it out and turn it in (or mail it) to the County Council office, 125 E. Center, no later than 5 PM on Monday, October 20.
