hi all,

i wanted to know how to monitor nodes for which normal ICMP ping doesnt work(like some windows based systems with firewalls enabled), as in is there some other discovery method available (besides manual discovery or SNMP traps)  and can openNMS be configured to do so???
I would really appreciate any help on the matter.

Thanking you,

Saurabh Seth

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
I'm not sure if this is 'discovery' in the common sense, but if you have a series of targets that you want to monitor, you can explicitly include them in the discovery XML configuration.
