Sorry, but I have been all over yahoo looking for help and an answer to this.

How do I make my name appear in the Author field instead of the impersonal "boxer41a"?

Hi,

You could try adding an alias.
You can find this option following "Edit Membership" link  just below Yahoo
groups' logo.

Have a nice day!

I've tried both but alias will not allow spaces.  How did Manu and you get your name to appear and has spaces.  Mine was there in the past.  I don't know what I did to remove it.  Just seems like I'm trying to hide something.

I may have found the reason:

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/original/issues/oldprofile2.html

I added the group profile for our user mailing list and let me know if it works
better.

Regards,
Manu

No, I still can't get my name to appear in the author column.  Also, some people appear as online or not but I can't set that either.  I have been all over yahoo profile looking for the settings.
