OSGEO.GDAL fdo provider

Is anyone using this provider outside of mapguide with success ( ie stable?)

It would be good to know any success stories as it's pretty unstable with mapguide
at the moment and such knowledge would help pin point the problem as being in the
provider or in mapguide..

Is there an FDO connection for AutoCAD Map to edit an ESRI Personal GeoDatabase?

I know the OGR Provider makes it possible to read but is there anything out there that gives you edit Capabilities?

Did you find any solution for editing ESRI Personal GeoDatabase using AutoCAD Map
We are successfully reading PGDB (mdb) with  AutoCAD Map3D 2009, using OGR Provider.
