Another very interesting report..

OIG Report on city carrier street performance

- reduce number of DOIS reports
- consider switching to evaluated routes
- increase GPS tracking of carriers

I posted a message over on the Postal Workers online site about this.

To keep it as concise as possible, basically it would be really nice if City Carriers would be forced to take EVA. It would level the playing field at contract time if we both had to play by the same rules.

NALC won't let it happen. Too bad our union can't stand up to USPS at contract time using items like the OIG report to get us at least somewhat on a level playing field. We have no incentive to cheat USPS like the city carriers do. Our union also needs to address the 2 paid breaks they get that we don't. DOUG

I would love to know VP of Operations Jordan Little's response to the suggestion that city carriers go to an evaluated system. I just want to see what they blacked out!!

They are not foolish enough to go evaluated.
