Well, Mason is still on the move.  He's making headway, but I was glad Noah (sort of) put him in his place when it was suggested that Luke shouldn't be there at the filming.  And what was that kiss all about?  That took a heck of a lot of nerve on Mason's part.  Noah should have made it clear that moment was inappropriate.

It's obvious that Luke isn't happy with the situation, and he understandably is upset with Mason.  Will Noah go after Luke?  I suppose so, but from what the spoilers are indicating, there is more trouble ahead.  In one sense Luke is showing continued immaturity with the silent attitude he displayed today.  So much could be done by the writers to get these two guys together and talk through their issues!

OK---now I've watched it and the whole film thing was weird, especially the forehead kiss.

Noah and Luke still seem really 'young' to me...especially Luke.

Mason just makes me angry. He has no place as a teacher if he is going to be going after Noah like that. Totally inappropriate. The kiss took me aback and I was waiting for Noah to say something, but he really didn't. Luke is immature, yes, but he is right to be jealous/suspicious. He just needs to find a more grown-up way to handle it.

The forehead kiss was absurd. And insisting that "my boyfriend" be on the set was silly also -- for what reason? Crikey, that little bedroom hardly could contain the five other people involved. I had to wonder why the female actor went running to the door in her scanty panties. A bit gratuitous for me...but I suppose that we need an underwear scene now that Ali appears only in scrubs!

The only reasons that I could see for Noah anting Luke on the set was to help with the stress/emotional support and so that he could feel like they were doing it together, that they were boht part of the process. It is stupid given the lack of space. However, when I was directing my play at the high school last spring, I would have loved to have had my husband there with me just for the imput of an impartial 3rd party and so that he could see what my job was like. However, given that he worked, and he had to be home when the babysitter brought our daughter home, and that my school was 25 miles away from where I lived... it was totally out of the question. Yeah, I don't think anyone else would have fit off stage of that tiny little set.

The kiss my Mason was stupid!  What teacher in their right mind would kiss a student in front of what I am assuming is other students (actors and tech majors).  Noah freaked out when Mason made a comment about him being cute way more than he did when Mason kissed him.  Not to mention, he accused Mason of trying to set up the car breakdown and told him to keep thing professional.  This scene with him making things so light was just was an abosulte contrast to his earlier behavior.  He basically told Luke that he was harmless after himself believing that Mason was going after him.  When Luke told Noah what Mason had said, Noah didn't believe him or at least thought he took things out of context.

God, the writers really need to read each others' work or see it to know where to take the characters before writing something new.  CG and JP also need to be doing better proof reading of these scripts for continuity, but then again we have said this all along.

Today I only watched the show on youtube.  I am at point now where I am almost not interested at all in this story.  I am slightly intrigued by the Mason being blunt about going after him and the rivalry between Mason and Luke.  Though this puts Mason into a typical scheming villian type, which can be fun but we have seen time and time again.  It would have been more interesting to have Noah and Luke slowly drift apart as they have been doing and have Mason come in with good intentions upon their breakup.  This would have created a more balanced love affair for Noah and Mason and allowed Luke to grow up a lot.  Once Noah and Mason's romantic/lust relationship burned out, Noah could return to a more mature Luke.

Chris,

What I'm wondering about is after Mason departs the scene, what will happen to Noah's desire to be a film director?  Will he abandon that goal and go into another field?  I'd hate to see him transfer his studies to still another "professor", with or without a scarf!   LOL

Maybe the guys will have a better relationship and at least TALK to one another in an open and honest way.  They need to consult with each other before making rash decisions and plan for their future together, not assume what the other one wants.

Dave,

This is sort of a reply to all three of your responses.  I don't think Mason is going to exit stage right just yet.  Originally he was suppose to exit earlier but the new head writer decided to keep him around.  That being the case, I imagine he will stick around a bit even after the production wraps.  He will find ways to keep himself in Noah's life.  What I do think is funny is that Noah was freaking about getting everything done in the summer, yet they (the writers) are having him work in filming the movie already and the fall semester has not even finished.  At this rate he will graduate by January.  The time lines on this show kill me, but we have discussed that element before, just figured I would send out a reminder to all the readers on here.

A side note, why the actor playing in Noah's film was decently attractive, they should have picked someone a little more sexy and held that shirtless sequence a little longer.  I am always up for gratitist male nudity, lol.

Chris,

I prefer to think that Mason will be gone by mid-December.  You perhaps think longer.  We'll see who comes out the "winner"!  LOL  So you think Mason will remain, lurking, butting in, and attempting to seduce Noah throughout the coming months?  Do you think they will end up in bed?  That would be dynamite and would devastate Luke.  Somehow, I don't think that will take place.

I agree that time frames on ATWT are very distorted.  Sometimes it's difficult to know when scenes are going on simultaneously, or when there's a break in time, such as the quick trips to NYC a few months ago with Holden, Luke, and Noah.  I guess that's a minor complaint, IMO, and one we have to adjust to.

I'm all for more shirtless scenes, too.  There aren't enough of them!  However, if you caught Craig's scene in bed with Rosanna a couple days ago, that was not good.  Jon's chest does nothing for me.  Damian's shirtless scenes aren't exactly what I like either.  There's something about his chest that turns me off.  Who on the show has worthy shirtless scenes now?  Jake, definitely; Van, sure; Casey, yup!  But they are few and too far in between. Well, enough of this!

Have a good weekend!  How is the guy situation in Philly?  And the classes?

Gosh, I'm glad I'm not alone thinking that "shirtless" Craig was a total turn-off. Yipes! I wanted him to pull that sheet up to his neck! As for Damien, I get NO kick out of seeing him shirtless either. Painfully, it brings me back to Brad -- maybe they'll do a shirtless ghost scene, as a final "tickle the fan's fancy (or make that "fantasy") send-off! LOL

A shirtless Brad ghost would be a very appropriate swan song for Austin.  It needs to come soon, or my eyes will start rolling.  I would rather my eyes be rivited on him without a shirt than to drag these ghost scenes on too long!

Yeah, since when to ghosts/angels wear clothes anyway??? LOL. Katie should be able to kiss Brad one last time and make love to him once as his final send off. Seeing him talking to the baby on Friday was really sad.

Yeah, we could drag out these ideas further and further!  Good point about angels not wearing clothes!  LOL  And ITA that the scenes with Brad talking with Jacob were heart-breaking.

All kidding aside, I really think this ghost thing needs to come to a quick end.
