Looking for some insight on my next package building excercise.
The public Address Geocoder is a set of tools based on a library that
will take TIGER road files in the US and the Stats Can road network
Files (RNF) in Canada.
The first hitch I am running into is the binary installer.
Essentialy I am installing each component into seprate packages and then
will build inter dependencies. This part is fine.
The challenge is that for the web base dapplication, a Web Processing
Service (WPS) there are two choices. Either fast Cgi or regular CGI.
I have not even looked yet if CGI is part of the package offerings, but
there seems to be a conflict if BOTH of these packages are installed.
How do we build conflict into a dependency in so far as if one is
installed then the other one can't be?
the other packages and the library itself I think is safe against any of
the two servers.
Any thoughts?
