New to all this.....help !!!

Hi everyone, I have just come across this forum whilst surfing. I have never chatted to anyone about my illness in 15 years, apart from a million docs and "specialists", so i am feeling really wary. I suppose I am so bloody fed up that I am giving this forum a go, with my hubby giving me a gentle shove from behind !
I am not one who normally shares, I tend to just suffer and try to cope. I am lonely as all I do is sit at home and go to the local shops. Sad moo aren't I ?? I am, when I am on a good day, giddy, daft and almost human but like the rest of us, those days are few.
I have a lovely hubby, who is my dearest friend but..... it can be hard for him to comprehend all i have to cope with.
Now I am not going to chirp on and if anyone fancies getting in touch, that would be lovely.
Is it Ok to say that I live in the Stockport area ?? Well I have said it anyway, heehee !!

Hi Debs welcome on boardI think we all know how your feeling having fibro is a lonley place to be sometimes, but there a lovely set of people on here, and I've made some great friends. I remember my first post on here and hovering around scared to press send, but I am so glad I did. Its is great when you can come on here and have a laugh. Just join in on any of the threads, the remember the November thread is a thread we go on to have a gossip about everyday lives, we change it at the begining of each month, and like Honey says just jump on board on our holiday thread. Looking forward to reading your posts

 Hi there Debs, a big welcome to you too, Hudson joined us just a few days ago too so both of you jump on in, we don't bite and we're just ordinary (well some!!) people who have a common bond. We are the kind of site that just knows how it is to sit at the other side of a screen and sometimes not feel we can take part, but on this site we just do 'ordinary' day to day stuff and feel comfortable knowing that everyone else fully understands even without explaining.

Include us in your day to day living that way you'll get used to some of the madness that occurs most of the time, of course, thats not me you understand..........!!!

We won't crow bar stuff out of you but if you feel comfortable enough to say anything, please know we will understand.
Our main purpose is to give each other an emotional lift. If 5 mins here makes you smile, how much better will the day seem? Thepain is always going to be there, it changes places but it never goes away. You have to be able to chnage the way you think so that it doesn't upset you so much.

Yep they all right in what they are saying this is a great site. I am Joy had fibro 19rys with lots of support , reading and understanding I have quite a good life although sometimes I feel lonely too. Come along and have a laugh and sometimes a cry with us
