New site

For the past few weeks Ian has been creating a 'New Look' website.
At the moment it is on a sister site to our normal one that we own, please take a look, it might be quick as there is not much on at the moment, time and work commitments have slowed everything down.

Once we have got it all running we will transfer everything over to the old site.

Take a look and tell me what you think?

I like the new look; it is much cleaner and far more contemporary than the old one.

The piclens slideshow overlays are really nice- gives a good luck at the dogs.

Is it worth adding a cat friendly tag on the dog page as that is a major consideration for some people?

I tried to leave a comment on Mary's page to see how that worked and it didn't work. Have you disabled comments there? I left a trial comment on the front page, to see what that looks like

I like the fact that you've kept the FAQ and useful info- I found that so important when we were deciding who to adopt through

Is the URL changing and have you dropped the silhouette logo? I'm making some cards to give out to people with the logo, website and contact details on so when they ask us about rehoming we can give them the accurate details

The new site is a template so it will be moved to www.greyhoundrescue.net once we have had enough time to finish it.
I don't think (apart from buttons) anything else works, just like me at the moment.

I will add the cat friendly title once I have finished adding boys.

The silhouette logo is still our logo but for some reason the new package does not like it, another job for Ian to sort.

If anyone wants leaflets, as well as site I have designed some leaflets, Ill print some out in the next couple of days and if you would like some please let me know.

Hi Michelle; I just want some little business cards to keep in our dog walking bags/pockets to give out when people ask where we got them from. I'll hang fire until the new site is finished then I'll follow the site housestyle etc

Michelle the new site looks great i love how you can see all the dogs and photos its really clear.
