I have used SCIM with Anthy for several months with my Japanese class. I am a conlanger and am in the process of creating a writing system for my conlang. The script is like Japanese: a phonetic system like the Hiragana and an "ideographic" system like the kanji. I have already created a font with about 150 glyphs in it, and I would like to know what I would need to do to make it possible to write a program to do this. I am fluent in C/C++ and have had a few years' experience in programming. If this is the wrong place to ask this question, would you please direct me to the correct place?
