New WinGrass Release

I've just put together a new native WinGrass package based on
releasebranch_6_4 r37703 (almost a month's worth of updates).

Download here: http://grass.osgeo.org/download/index.php#g64x

Please test and report any problems.

Thanks for your great work. Any idea if the OSGeo4W installer
is also updated with the new WinGrass package or do we need to
install the standalone version

Hi Venka,

This is a separate package from the OSGeo4W installation (which is
packaged by someone else).

For testing purposes, use this version as it is the most recent (this
was packaged yesterday vs the latest OSGeo4W version which was
packaged Mar 28th).

For general use, both versions are quite functional.

Hi,

wxpython gui seems to be working fine.

tried to start the GRASS tcl/tk gui and get the
following error

"Runtime Error!
Program: C:\GRASS-6-SCN\tcl-tk\bin\wish.exe

This application has requested Runtime to terminate in
an unusual way. Please contact application support..."

Grass-tcl-tk does start if the above error is ignored.
but cannot select individual raster/vector layers for
display from the GIS Manager.

Hi All,

The Runtime error that I mentioned disappeared after
I did a reinstall. Tested on several XP and Vista machines
and there was no problem.

the r.patch GUI issue reported in the ticket below
still persists for Vista. Is there any solution for this.
