Having had bad luck with previous R1150R-ie,coil pack catching fire,callipers sticking,heated grips u/s,ECU fault.I went and bought a Guzzi 1100 Breva-what a major mistake,nearly packed in motorcycling after 34years.
Our local BMW dealer offerd me a deal I could not refuse on the 1200R-Happy days!!
What a major differance to the old 1150,handling is quick & light,engine responsive,etc etc.
Question-In the UK there are few of these around,everyone seems to go for the GS!I guess folk think the R to be an old folks bike(mm,I am knocking on 50-I'd better be careful here).Should we keep this little known gem to ourselves?
