| Subject: [Audacity-help] Need Help
| I have been recording some songs of mine now I would like
| to move them from audacity to my player so I can make a CD
| but I am not sure how to make them in to mp3 farm so if you
| could tell me how to do it or let me know what I have to
| download to make it work that would help me a lot.. I have
| windows vista if that help you
If you want the CD you are burning to play on any standalone CD player
(such as in a car or home stereo), you need to export from Audacity as
44 100 Hz 16 bit stereo WAV files, not as MP3. Please see:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=files&i=burn-cdIf you want to export as MP3 for some other purpose, e.g. for smaller size
storage on a portable player, you need to add the LAME MP3 encoder to
your computer and tell Audacity where to find it. Please see:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&i=lame-mp3Gale Andrews
