Hello all,
As they say we all learn in different ways - audio, kinetic, visual, etc, so I thought it would be a good idea to provide yet another way whereby we NZ pythonistas (zopistas or whatever) can chat and ask questions. So if you'd like to join the NZZUG IRC channel, go to irc://irc.freenode.net/nzzug, i.e. irc.freenode.net, channel: #nzzug (hopefully someone will be online :).
As an aside, there appears to also be another website/mailing list[1] that has started up for python users. Apparently it was initiated by a member of Ubuntu-NZ[2]. Well opensource is about choice right :)
