Here we go,
There has been quite some idle time since forming the NZPUG in
September.
Time to meet up!
I'm envisaging monthly meetings for Python developers, starting here
in Auckland (who wants to start in other cities?). I believe there are
way more (keen) Python developers in New Zealand than the currently
available mailing lists suggest. I intend to bring some organization,
continuity and visibility to the Python User Group so that we can
successfully grow, learn from each other and network within and
between industries, i.e., have benefits from being group members.
I suggest to have one informal meeting to find out future attendee
numbers and organize a venue for periodical meetings, and to discuss
the general way of conducting these meetings.
When? Friday, 14th of December 2007 - 6pm onwards
Where? Galbraith's Alehouse, 2 Mt Eden Road, Mt Eden, Auckland -

- It's a Friday but that doesn't mean NZPUG meetings need to be on
Fridays
- It's at Galbraith's because it's an informal meeting. I reckon
future meetings would be in company premises (volunteers?).
