National Rural Letter Carriers' Association: "NRLCA Files National Level Grievance for Additional Time Required to Perform New Rural Carrier Duties Associated with “Scan Talks” on the IMD Scanners

This grievance concerns the Postal Service’s position that no additional time shall be credited to rural carriers who are being required to read “Scan Talks” that appear on the Intelligent Mail Data Acquisition System (IMDAS).

    Woopy , lets file grievences on PO spending billions on Fss machines and telling the world, no money due to poor economy! And them skipping over large city offices here so they could get as many rurals on this count in sept!

I realize that is the unions job to see that we as rural carriers arecompensated for everything that we are supposed to be getting, but, don't you think the union has bigger fish to fry and not be so worried about trying to squeeze one minute of time out of something that takes about ten seconds. What we should really be asking is how much is teh post office paying the monkey to sit at a  computer and come up with all of the mindless drivell that is used for the scan talk.
