My reservations about GT2 for j2me

Hi,

Going through the gt2 jars, my only reservation about the use of gt2 and JTS for j2me is regards to the size of the jar files. The jar file sizes are quite large at least from a j2me point of view. However, they might be adequate for smart phones (e.g. android ) and the CDC software stack.

Cheers,

Roman.

Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
There is a maven plugin that lets you combine several jars into once; and just take the parts you are going to use ...

We actually combined several of the jars into one large main jar in order to cut down the number of small jars; that does not really help you now :-(
One thing to watch out for when combining jars it to merge the META_INF/services directories.
