My neice has Fibro

Hi Everyone,Hope you are all feeling ok.I found out a few days ago that my poor neice has Fibro She has been seeing a private doctor and I cannot believe he told her that if she takes it easy for the next 4 years it will go away.
I am going to give her our addy so she can join.

Rita so sorry to about your niece hope she gets lots of help along the way.
If it goes in 4yrs why have I had it for 20 ????????  need to chat to this person

Hi Rita,

Sorry to hear your niece has fibromyalgia, it does seem that it could be genetic doesn't it, I'm sure my mum had fibro too. I think it might be an idea for her to print out the NHS details for her GP and then give the FMAUK a ring to send this GP a doctors pack, that might nudge him/her into the 21st century!

Would be great to see another new face on here too

hi rita what a shame how old is she?i too think that it is genetic.my dad had all the symptoms for years and he sufferd with his stomach terribly.and we were gob smacked when they did a post mortem on him and it did not reveal anything in his stomach or bowel to explain why he was always so ill with his stomach.
so looks like he had fibro
