MuseScore 0.9.4 (Windows) Keyboard Entry and symbols Bug

I am relatively new to this forum but am experienced in score writing and compositional work.
Both solutions I am trying to generate a patched executable to fix these issues and any others.


1st Bug :
Launch MuseScore, Create a New document, there will be a blue highlight around one measure of the staff. Immediately press any letter corresponding to a note A, B, C, D, E, F, G, the mouse will turn into a notehead without a stem. Then immediately click anywhere on the staff to place the note. MuseScore 0.9.4 crashes.

2nd Bug:
Create a document and start entering strings of notes or even one single note. Press Z or open Symbols Dialog and double click any symbol to apply, double click on the same symbol and MuseScore will crash

The first bug is fixed in the prereleases and the second bug is
apparently fixed in the latest revision (at least I am not able to
reproduce the crash).

If want to help with testing and development it is important that you
use the latest development versions otherwise you will often redo work
someone else has already done.

Prerelease versions of MuseScore are available for testing. The one with
the highest revision number is the most recent.
