Hi all,
I've made a quick review of the translation state (with my own amazing
method : click everywhere ;)). Of course, french translation is done.

- frontpage always in english

- when editing a document
"The geographical location associated with the item, if applicable."

- @@types-controlpanel
dropdown list for choosing a workflow : workflow names in english

"Simple workflow that is useful for basic web sites."
"Things start out as private, and can either be submitted for review,
or published directly."
"The creator of a content item can edit the item even after it is published."

- @@skins-controlpanel
dropdown list (always show icons...)

- @@site-controlpanel
"Expose sitemap.xml.gz in the portal root"
"Exposes your content as a file according to the sitemaps.org
standard. You can submit this to compliant search engines like Google,
Yahoo and Microsoft. It allows these search engines to more
intelligently crawl your site."

- @@rules-controlpanel
dropdown list of triggers : triggers names

- @@filter-controlpanel
"Plone filters HTML tags that are considered security risks. Be aware
of the implications before making changes below. By default only tags
defined in XHTML are permitted. In particular, to allow 'embed' as a
tag you must both remove it from 'Nasty tags' and add it to 'Custom
tags'. Although the form will update immediately to show any changes
you make, your changes are not saved until you press the 'Save'
button."

"remove selected items"
"Stripped tags"
"Custom tags"
"Stripped attributes"
"Stripped combinaisons"
"Permitted styles"
"Filtered classes"

- dropdown list for adding portlets : all in english

It's translated only during plone site instanciation. The french
translation is working.

I don't understand the following list. Is there typos or is this missing
translations ?

As Encolpe already said, we don't have multilingual content support in
3.0. All we do is to create the Plone site based on the browser language
of the user creating the site and translate the content once into that
language (based on the locales/<language code>/LC_MESSAGES/frontpage.po
file).

Could you please add those missing translations as bug reports to our
tracker (https://dev.plone.org/plone/newticket) and choose
'Internationalization' as the component. Otherwise those will get lost.

Thx,
Hanno
