Hello list,

I've noticed [1] we don't have any assigned editor for the "Developing
for Plone" documentation section yet. I'm currently working as a
Zope/Plone developer in a startup company so I think I could help with
this.

As far as I've understood, Plone documentation editor's tasks can be
summarized as "review any new content in your section and perform
cleanup activites from time to time". Are there any special
requirements to become an editor? Any specific guidelines I should be
aware of?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Israel,

I think that's a great idea. We currently have Jesse Snyder and David Glick
doing a gap analysis of where docs are weak / outdated in that section.
Specifically, we want to get this in place in time for the conference.

ection-assessment

I'm cc'ing them here so that they can get you up to speed / hand off the
project if they would like. We recruited them with the knowledge that they
didn't have a lot of time to contribute, so it's entirely possible they'd
want to hand off official editorship to you and simply act as contributors /
reviewers.

I'll let you guys figure out amongst yourselves how you want to handle this,
and just keep us in the loop in terms of letting us know where things stand.

Cheers,

- Veda

Israel - I'd be more than happy to make a hand off here if you've got the time and inclination to jump in.
