Some javascript/style in this post has been disabled (why?)
I have to cut a 16
bit, 44.1k wave file into smaller 8 bit, 8k wave files. I've imported the 16 bit
file, changed the project sample rate to 8k, selected the section to export,
export preferences set to 8 bit wave, then export selection, but it seems to
have a minimum file size of 206kB (equates to about 17 sec). I want smaller than
this - some selections are only 2 secs long. Is this a bug or am
I doing something wrong.
