Member search results background color

What I want to do is changed the default color background for the box in
member search results.  Right now, it has a profile picture, user name, all
contained in a box with it's background color coming from
base_properties.props value of globalBackgroundColor.  I want to specify a
different color for only this specific object while leaving the
globalBackgrounColor in tact.  Any ideas?
