Hello Marketcetera Fans,
I know it's been a while. That doesn't mean that we've been slacking -
turns out once you raise Venture Capital money you are moving so fast
you don't have enough time to write blog entries. We'll work to
improve that.
Meanwhile, we've released the next version of the Marketcetera
Platform. We've heard from many of you that getting the entire
platform to work has been non-trivial, so this release we've focused
on improving the install experience and packaged it as a native
Windows installer.
That means the entire platform can now run directly on your Windows
machine, without a need for using a VMWare appliance or dealing with
any configuration files. The installer takes care of all that. It
also means you can have Tradebase on Windows directly as well.
* Added Windows installer that installs all Marketcetera
components on a single box
* Added Authentication (you now need to log on to Photon)
* Tradebase now installs and runs on Windows
* Restructured our code repository and simplified the process of
building the Marketcetera from source (details to follow)
Please try it out -

I'm looking forward to hear any comments or suggestions.
In other news, we've been growing the team - we are opening up a NY
office (downtown) and are looking to staff up our support and
professional services office. If anybody has any leads or is
interested, please let me know.
And, of course, both Graham and I are at SIFMA this year again,
talking to customers, partners, systems integrators and enjoying the
"warm" weather. If anybody is interested in meeting let me know and we
can arrange that.
Thanks again for your support and interest, and happy trading!
