The official launch of the Marketcetera Automated Trading Platform Version 1.0 marks a great milestone for our project. You have provided us with great support and advice every step of the way and we want to take a moment and say thank you. We simply could not have accomplished as much, as quickly, without your support.

Speed continues to be one of the biggest issues preoccupying our community members. People are focused on faster implementation of their trading platform, faster implementation of strategies, and faster trading responses to changes in a volatile market. We are working on releasing the Linux installer towards the end of
this week. We've actually discontinued the VMWare appliance since
people were running into too many issues getting the VMWare appliance
to behave correctly on their networks.

>  Would Photon include the same functionality as server UI client? I'm interested in beta or final release.

Not sure I understand this - are you asking if Photon will have the
functionality of Tradebase in it? Not in this upcoming Linux rev, but
we are working on slowly moving some of Tradebase's functionality into
Photon, that will start showing up in the next major release of
Marketcetera.
